About Me
I’m a Columbus, Ohio–based writer and author. My debut novel, Break Your Heart, was released in 2013 by Charles Towne Publishing . That release gave me the unforgettable opportunity to launch my first book at an event where I followed Mariel Hemingway and her partner Bobby Williams as they debuted their co-authored work.
My upcoming novel, Pieces of Journey, an upmarket thriller, is currently being prepped for release—either independently on Amazon this fall or through a publishing house, should representation align.
In addition to fiction, I’m proud to be collaborating with Find Your Voice Now, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women in or healing from toxic relationships. Together with the organization’s founders, I’m co-creating a book that will showcase the voices and resilience of the women they empower.
I also serve on the board of The Rita Matteo Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship fund created in memory of my late mother, a beloved pillar of our community. The foundation supports students pursuing higher education who are active volunteers and change makers in their neighborhoods (www.ritamatteo.org).
These days, I split my time between writing, contract work, and navigating this wild and beautiful life with my incredible husband, Sean, and our two amazing daughters, Reilly and Henley.
